Entering into my healthcare studio I was intimidated. However, this intimidation soon turned into excitement as I realized how much I enjoyed the design process of health and wellness projects.
The scope of this project was to design a medical office building located in Birmingham, Alabama. Home to primary care, phlebotomy, radiography, and eye clinics. Following my research on holistic healthcare I also incorporated a meditation courtyard, yoga studio, and more. I chose this design concept to foster a more comprehensive and personalized approach to the health and well-being of the Birmingham, Alabama area.

Above are a few of my final renderings completed using Revit and Enscape, while below is my mood board for the project.

Above is a PDF link to the construction document set for the MOB. The set of documents completed using AutoCAD includes floors 1 and 2, the RCP, the furniture plan, the finish plan, and various elevations/enlarged plans.

Above is a criteria matrix and bubble diagram created in the predesign phase. These tools helped me immensely as I collected the needs, wants and expectations from the client.
